Maya III is the sixth of Puzzle mode's seventeen planets. It becomes available when any four of Vermithrax II's five puzzles have been solved.
The puzzles of Maya III contain only Rocks and white gems, which are arranged in various formations and in checkered patterns. The main goal of these puzzles is to create Hypercubes to destroy the rocks.
Completing any four of Maya III's five puzzles unlocks access to Hegemon V, the next planet in Puzzle mode.

- The backdrop of this planet is seen on the game's original installer icon.
- According to Armands Auseklis, the backdrop's name is "Down by Anduin".[1]
